As we are all aware, Hurricane Harvey destroyed our small region, the South Texas coastline. Following the storm, The (Original) Hu-Dat structure was damaged. Then, after 25 years, it was time to get a new look. We're thrilled to be back in business for the great community of ours, so make sure to visit us at the brand new Hudats as well as Benchwarmers!
GLOW
The Rockport Tx Restaurants opened in May 2011. Glow is a small coastal kitchen in an old repair shop for sailboats, offering seasonal food with local seafood and Texas game. Glow creates a range of homemade dishes and desserts that can be taken to Rockport Tx Restaurants home with their house-made recipes for customers to take home and enjoy. The covered outdoor patio with picnic tables overlooks Little Bay, where guests can drink wine, beers cocktails, and a changing menu of seasonal small plates.

Craig was a huge fan of culinary arts from a very young age when living within Corpus Christi, Texas. Craig began his career in the foodservice industry by working at Rockport Tx Restaurants as a line chef; however, he quickly rose the ranks to become a sous chef before being promoted to the head chef. During these years of development, Craig realized his love for fresh, local seafood and created his distinctive style of cooking that revolves around these seafood ingredients.

The Boiling Pot Rockport Tx Restaurants was founded around 1985 through Dot LeBlanc. Her son, Mike, operated a fish shop that sold fresh oysters and shrimp. Dot considered it to be an idea to start the Rockport Tx Restaurants. She began by wanting to serve fresh-cooked seafood to her family and friends. Then the business started to grow! Things have remained the same over the years. Dot was a fan of the place, and it is her soul and heart.
When Dot died a few times ago, Mike and his wife Ramona came in to run the place and continue to provide the same services, entertainment, and fresh seafood, using identical recipes!
